My thoughts on Ryze bleh. after playing ryze a bit, i have to say i dont like taking him mid anymore. the only decent resist item for him in the mid lane is abyssal scepter since they took the mana stat offa the banshees. hes great top lane though, with ice bourn gaunts and frozen heart. His ability to kite 99% of melee tops and deal magic damage to their armor stacking assess, its almost like singed, similar build even. i often have to wonder though if i should go Muramana for the passive on his q and w, or Seraphs for the AP on his w q and e. the only reason this is even a question is because he looses the passive on muramana when he ults because its no longer single target. but obviously not ulting isnt an option. when not ulting, ive had muramana add 400 damage to my 2.1 second CD q and the same damage to w as well.... versus the more reliable/consistent ~150 damage to w 60 damage to q and 100 or so damage to each bounce of e.... also the shield is nice when they think theyre just gonna burst me and walk away. all of a sudden shield and snare under turret etc etc...
