My thoughts on the DR Phil Autism Special today.....Im excited that he has chosen to help out Issy, other then that, I felt like it was a real Disappointments. I was left feeling like today was more about making the mom out to be a victim, than bringing any type of real awareness or action to advocate for any real change to what is so clearly broken, the system that repeatedly fails our children and our families every day and if he was really sincere in helping families with Autism, he would do more then just one hour show. Todays show was a weak attempt to scratch the surface, but not deep enough to create any real awareness, let alone any real action to help bring about the change these families and children really need.....Todays show was all about ratings and book sales.
