My thoughts on the passing of Ian Paisely? He was anti Catholic, anti Irish nationalism, anti LGBT, anti bloody everything that didnt fit into his narrow minded, bigoted view, guided by his narrow, bigoted religion. However like all human beings he was not all that, I believe he was a great family man, a constituency politician for all the people on both sides and towards the end of his political career, instrumental in bringing hard line unionism into the peace process, something his successor is unfortunately unravelling. So, I pass my condolences onto his family, his friends and his community. I hope that the Unionist community take what was good and bury the nasty part with him.
