My time working at Mt. Washington Residence was short, but so - TopicsExpress

My time working at Mt. Washington Residence was short, but so sweet. Although I have done things like clean up diarrhea from walls and carpet and dig through puke to find dentures (yes I had to be graphic because you all need to know what CNAs/nurses go through lol) but I have also laughed with my residents more times than I can count. The experience I received with giving medications and the experience with psych clients has been so beneficial to me. What made it all worth it was my residents expressing how much I will be missed with tears in their eyes, that I will make a great RN, and even that my parents raised an amazing daughter. Going through all that CNAs/nurses go through is so extremely taxing and there are times I truly wanted to walk out the door, but hearing those things help me realize that what I do and what my peers do for residents and patients really does make a difference even though we may not feel appreciated all the time. Farewell MWR, its been a pleasure and a blessing.
