My tip for the year. If you are going to own and operate your own small business, GET A LAW DEGREE and BE A LAWYER before you open your business! I am currently wading deep in legal documents and wonder how on earth I would survive in small business without the knowledge I gained through my law degree. Random post, I know. But Im feeling like my head is only just above water these days and I really think there are so many constraints and rules and regulations on small businesses, that is a wonder that people go into business at all.
