Not every mountaineer has a worthy answer always. Edmund Viesturs (born June 22, 1959) the high-altitude mountaineer and corporate speaker, has quested to reply the question by climbing on the 14 highest mountains of the world sans supplemental oxygen. He has climbed peaks of over 8,000 meters on 21 occasions, including Mount Everest seven times; only two other climbers, Phurba Tashi Sherpa Mendewa and Juanito Oiarzabal, have more high-altitude ascents. “Parbat er Neshai Odamya Pran” is the translation of Ed Viesturs’s autobiography entitled as “No Shortcuts to the Top: Climbing the Worlds 14 Highest Peaks (published in October 2006)” by late young mountaineer of Bangladesh Sajal Khaled. Viestur’s book is an autobiography that documented his 16-year journey summiting all fourteen eight-thousand km high mountains and his strategies to manage risk in extreme mountain environments -( See more at: daily-sun/details_Parbat-er-Neshai-Odamya-Pran:-A-great-translation-work-of-Sajal-Khaled_909_1_45_1_0.html#sthash.Mjc9BOgL.dpuf)
