My too-wonderful-for-words, ever-protective brother, Mark McCune passed away quite unexpectedly early yesterday. He taught me to wrestle, applied Merthiolate to my scraped knees, and unashamedly took me to a concert to see Chicago (who I love to this day because he played it so LOUDLY in his room). I cried when he left for college, I cried when he moved to Texas, and now I cry as he has moved to heaven. Now he rests in peace physically, but while he was here, he rested spiritually in the peace that comes from knowing Jesus Christ. Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?” John 11:25-26
