My top ten albums of 2014 #6 OK Go-Hungry Ghosts OK Go are one of the last truly artistic bands out there. Their use of the music video is unparalleled and their style continues to change. In the fourth offering from this band we find them picking up where they left off. It feels like they listened closely to the last album and said We can do that better! For 8 of the 12 songs on the album, they do indeed do better than the last one. However, the party ends after track 8, but OK Go feels like were just getting to the best part as they plow on with an anthem stomp. You see, OK Go really excels in making party music. So when they try to make something that sounds like an anthem, its just really hard to take it seriously. Still, the first 8 tracks are so good, theyre worth the purchase of the whole album.
