My tribute to Billy Thorpe (March 29, 1946 – February 28, 2007). How does a musician go from this ( https://youtube/watch?v=WrHoEx7cpDM ), to the rock opera Children of the Sun? It needs to be cranked to be appreciated. It was way ahead of its time, 1979. There was a small local record store that burned down. Steve came home with a damaged vinyl copy of Children of the Sun. We copied it onto our dads reel to reel portable briefcase tape recorder. I remember the green level vacuum tube it had. It was awesome. We made the house shake with it. Our mom got rid of the recorder because she thought it was dangerous. It shocked us sometimes.
