My tribute to our C4 owners here and a good read for those of you that dont really know their place in our Corvette history. This one belongs to Jerry Rice (one of our members) and is a favorite of mine. Few cars in history have ever been more eagerly anticipated than the arrival of the C4 Corvette. This new ‘Vette was a completely original design – from top to bottom – and was a contemporary interpretation of the American Classic. Admittedly, it still was not the “car-of-the future-here-today” that General Motors had eluded to secretly developing since the early 1960’s, but it was a brand-new Corvette nonetheless, and one that was bound to turn a lot of heads.
