My truck wandered home from the station under starry skies this morning. I hauled in all my gear and then fed and watered the horses, cats, dogs and chickens. After that I brought in some firewood, made a fresh pot of coffee, put the dogs in snug nests and Ill be getting ready to map again after the fire is going warm and happy. Last night at the ambulance barn I was greeted with a lot of friends who stopped in, many bearing food :) and good cheer. It felt good and reviewing the runs only made me more appreciative and grateful for the life I have, the multitude of very special friends, the warm shelter and delicious food, the good health and a job that allows me to live where I do. As I watched the horses pull apart their hay, I looked up at the stars and prayed gratitude. I just had to really. I have so much... I hope this day finds each of you in a special place where you can take the time to be in the moment and shut off the noise of life for a bit. A place where you can reflect on what a long shot this life really is. Its truly amazing to me. Blessings to each of you ~ May your days be bright and your nights have stars... R
