My true feelings about my fellow Innu people after looking at this video over and over how Police officers treats our fellow young people and all Innu people in Labrador especially in sheshatshiu and Natuashish NL. For many years living in Davis Inlet, Natuashish and Sheshatshiu for past years. I used to see and witness how our fellow Innu been man handled by RCMP when they are: Detain; When they are arrested ; Cautioned; man handle etc, Years after years Innu of Labrador and other aboriginal groups are experiencing a very simliar unfair treatment from justice systems, Law Enforce, Health Care, Education, socio-ecomonmic, Child youth family services, housing etc. Some of us as Innu are award the studies in these areas that they need to improve. Royal Commission Report, and Human rights reports and recommendations are all ignored by Canadian Government, Provincial Government, especially they Indian, Innu agents. Despite all these above mention reports and recommendations to improve the live of aboriginal people and ignored. We as Innu in Labrador NL are still experiencing stereo typing, RACISM in all programs and services. We need to fight back and defend ourselves and defend our Innu people. I cant no longer sit idly and watch our Innu people get hurt. We need JUSTICE FOR OUR INNU PEOPLE. In these areas Law enforcement, Health Care, cyfs, education, housing etc. I am ready to fight whose with me? They will hear our, pain, feelings, hurts especially our TEARS.
