My two-appointment Thursday turned out to be an Il Volo day, making the ferry ride and freeway drive enjoyable. As soon as we started on our way, the first thing my driver told me -- a friend was visiting him from Germany several weeks ago, and during a conversation about music, he told her about me and my love for three young Italian -- She immediately blurted Il Volo! and proceeded to tell him they were very popular in Germany. I had indoctrinated him the first time he drove me a couple of months ago, but now he wanted to hear more about them. And I obliged. Only thing that turned off my barrage of words was turning on the Takes Flight CD on the way there, and WAL CD on the way home, with Il Volo talk in between. Once I start its hard to shut me up! It was after 5 pm by the time I got home -- we had missed one ferry. Now, tonight, somewhat tired, I decided I was in the mood for moon watching to end the night, and thought I could handle a trip back to 2011 Detroit -- after I bid all of you -- Buonanotte, sogni doro. Sleep well.
