My two cents: I have been hit, struck, bit, insulted, accused, spit upon and mercilessly threatened by Your Child. I am just a teacher (or was just their principal) so I do not brandish a gun. I HOPED that when a kid said they were gonna cut me that they didnt have a knife but most of the time I didnt know for sure. I keep reading about the unfair actions of police officers. We are picking and choosing what to highlight. There are many more cases of racial profiling out there than are being highlighted. But there are also colonies of individuals who make for unsafe living and mobility for us all. Stop blaming cops. Stop blaming minorities. Its everything. Theres a societal problem here. Institutional racism exists. A huge disregard for authority exists. A society that is litigious in nature (making those who can act and confront stop) exists. I keep hearing I cant breathe . Well we ALL cant live right now either. The chasm is too great. Nothings getting solved.
