My updated baby bio: With over 50 years of garden soil under his nails, David King approaches growing food with the perspective of a man who is intimately acquainted with the soil and growing food. Drawing on the tenets of Permaculture and his own experience, he teaches simplicity and creates a rewarding experience for even the so-called black thumbs. He has taught for UCLA Extension and UC Cooperative Extension for many years and is close to finishing his first book, Growing Food In Southern California (and other Mediterranean Climates). He is kept in line (more or less) by a Scottish Terrier named Tré.
