My view on this drama of social cum news media regarding Junaid jamshed : So, it was same old anti Islam, anti Muslim farse, propaganda, which our media business is so paid to talk about. Who has funded anyways to research the archives of JJ videos? Thats what I expected (propaganda), and the reason I ignored it in the first place. Looking at the outcome of this whole drama, Serves to promote problems in Islam, divide in its followers, and foremost, maligns yet again blasphemy laws of Pakistan. Now, Im sure theres a certain lobby (read funded ngo) , working to abolish blasphemy laws, looking at the frequency of recent attempts. Another, aspect highlighted through this, is to teach a lesson to the educated/elite who indulge in religion/Islam actively, or propagate. How JJ correlated the hadith was inappropriate(wrong), but humiliation of sacred personality wasnt his intention, deliberate, out of question. Hes an intelligent person, who on earth would expect that from him. As per Pakistani laws, theres no capital punishment for such incident. As far as the ignorant masses (read lunatic) are concerned, who are ready to kill anyone for lack of patience or their understanding, yes, thats one of the core issues of Pakistan, but whod bother talk about it? I guess, our media is not funded to do that, instead theyre happy to fuel fight, revenge, retaliation, hate, all portraying to be religious/Islamic, while in fact completely opposite to the Islamic injunctions.
