My visit to the Indian Embassy today: Sanjib - Hi, Im here to drop of my documents you requested Embassy - Oh yes we wanted them by special delivery post, not in person Sanjib - ahh not to worry, I had to come into Central London for some meetings anyway, so here are my documents Embassy - ahh we cant accept in person anymore, only by post Sanjib - OK, so wheres your post box, Ill drop it in there Embassy - ahh you cant do that, you can only hand it in to general enquiries. Sanjib - fine, so wheres your general enquiries? Embassy - ahh they stopped accepting documents in person last year Sanjib - can you take in my documents and send to the right department? Embassy - ahh no I cant do that, my job is just to direct what people should do when they come here Sanjib - so how can I get these documents into the building? Embassy - well just down the road, there is a post office, you will need to post it to the High Commission by special delivery so you have proof it has been delivered. Sanjib - but if I am dropping of in person, surely you dont need to prove to me that I dropped it off? Embassy - ahh yes, but we cant accept in person Sanjib - OK, were not making much progress here... can you direct me to the Post Office please Embassy - sure its straight down the road and on the right hand side... So I walked down the road and find the post office on the left hand side:)... Sanjib - Hi, I would like to post these documents to the Indian Embassy please. Post Office Counter - but why dont you just deliver in person up the road? Sanjib - dont ask:):) Post Office Counter - ok so here is what you need for a special delivery Sanjib - great thanks Post Office Counter - actually you know what, just sign here, no need for so much drama, and I will personally ensure everything is sorted for you Sanjib - wow thanks, your a good man! Post Office Counter - so what do you do by the way? Sanjib - I am a Spiritual & Business coach for Elite Entrepreneurs Post Office Counter - do you mind giving me your company details and taking my details as I would love to come to any events you do. Sanjib - yeh sure, I am always doing seminars and workshops in London, would be great to have you attend... we exchanged details and got everything sorted there and then... Post Office Counter - oh hang on a second, can you meet my manager please? Sanjib - yeh sure:) Post Office Manager - Hi, I was observing and listening to you... you look very calm and happy, how can I be like that Sanjib - anyone can, its all about good meditation!:) Post Office Manager - Can you come to my office, I would love to speak to you more about this Sanjib - ahh I am busy right now, but here are my details, get in touch and lets speak. Post Office Manager - how about the seminar I heard you say you do, I want to come Sanjib - sure you are most welcome to register and come along.. we had a chat and got everything sorted there and then... Then before reaching my meeting, bumped into someone I knew from ages back, who mentioned how they have been following me on fb and would love to come to my next event and bring along 4 others too... we had a chat and got everything sorted there and then... Then literally bumped into another friend on the way (whom I hadnt seen in years!), who also mentioned they have been following me on fb and wanted to start coaching with me... again, we got everything sorted there and then.. So basically, what should of been a routine drop-of to the Embassy, ended up with me acquiring 8 totally new clients and an interesting story to share with you all... all by lunchtime:)! Funny how the universe works at times:):) Like I keep saying to you all, stay focussed, keep working hard, and most of all, just be happy with everything you do.... and all will come your way:):) Keep rocking and stay blessed!:) Sanjib!:)
