My way of coming an US citizen has often been questioned and where I had rather live than here. I am proud of my family (not that they can say the same about me) and have spent man hours researching them and acquiring proofs for the information. I am descended from 9 of the original Jamestowne colonist and know of NO ancestor in any line who was not here BEFORE the Revolution which many of them fought in along with the other wars that OUR government has involved us in after our country was founded. Numerous ones were killed by the Indians that I so love. I am sure some came later but I challenge anyone to do a better job of tracing their families.
