My wedding speech. (This is un-edited, or proof read so please excuse the errors. I didnt get to read this word for word because my phone was dead but I was pretty close.) May I have your attention guys. Im Keith, Jareds best friend. Ive known him since middle school, and Ive known Kristen ever since Jared told me he has found the love of his life. Its funny how weird God works at times because when I first met Jared, I couldnt stand that tall jerk. At this time I was new from out of town and visited his church. We hated each other instantly, because all of the girls thought I was cuter. We picked on each other relentlessly until we both found out that we were not so different other than our height. Yugioh, halo 2, marching band, and Saturday morning cartoons forged two enemies into the best of friends that are close like brothers. When I met Kristen, Jared came up to me and said, Bruh... I found the girl I want to spend the rest of my life with. I knew he was not messing around because he didnt stutter and was clear as day when he said it. Even though my time to get to know Kristen was cut short because I moved to Georgia, before I left I knew why Jared wanted to date her. She was kind, sweet, honest, and one of the most pure souls Ive ever met. Returning home from time to time I can confirm that nothing has changed about her. She is and always has been that pure soul I remember from long ago. Today is the day I should be gaining a new best friend, but I dont believe that to be the case. I feel it would be more appropriate to feel like I am gaining a sister. I would like to take this time to take God for allowing such a beautiful moment in time, the moms for creating two beautiful souls destined to find each other, and the digimon theme song I am most likely singing in my head to keep myself from crying. I love you guys and wish you guys nothing but the best on what I think will be an amazing adventure.
