My week has just been amazing!!! I began training a new Pirate with lots of Arggghh and Grrrr last Saturday, and this week we did costuming and script rehearsal. Friday night was an elegant theatre evening for my Bournemouth Fairy and Pixie team that ended at 2am with wild dervish dancing... and then 6 hours later one of my customers rang up at 8.10am the next morning. While I spoke to her I realised todays event was going to be 2 hours drive in weekend traffic and so kindly waited another hour before calling Jack and getting him out of bed. The mark of a true professional is being able to host a party for 30 children perfectly while you both have hang overs. We did so well we got another booking on the spot, then carried our gear to the car and collapsed in secret. I have now spent the evening cutting out cardboard parrots and getting ready for more Pirate festivities tomorrow... Oh Arrrrrrrrghhh!
