My wife Rebecca is 37 and has CF. Weve been together for 17 years this month (married 11). Unfortunately in 2014 her health declined significantly despite her consistent efforts in doing her treatments, going to the Dr., and getting her rest. She checked into the hospital on Monday 12/29 then experienced respiratory failure and was moved to the MICU where we spent New Years Eve with Becca sedated and on a ventilator. Ive been involved with volunteering with the CFF and Becs been involved with surviving. Basically, we do what we can. Weve had an amazing outpouring of well wishes and support from friends and family for which Im SO thankful. There are so many ups and downs with this disease...but now Im just asking for some prayers and well wishes for an amazing person and the toughest fighter I know...Beccalicious, Becca Lee, Sugar Plum, sugar spice, and Super Chunk...and a dozen other names I have for her! Thanks in advance.
