My wife and I attended the Festus High school production of Into the Woods tonight. First let me say that the set design and lighting effects were top notch. The cast also did a great job. This is the second play we have attended this month. While we enjoyed them both very much. The fact that each drama dept. has to work around an obstacle as big as working in a gym rather than a proper theater is a shame. The Arts students deserve as much of a chance to succeed on their Playing field as the sports I cover do. Lets hope each community does what it can in the future to support getting the students into a nice theater to enhance the wonderful plays/musicals they put so much work into.
