My wife just put together a time-line for Julianas cancer history since 2007: Juliana’s Medical History Chronology: 12/4/01 Born in Minsk, Belarus 8/26/03 Adopted at the age of 20 months – No history of any major illnesses or injuries. 9/03 Diagnosed with Strabismus 12/03 Surgery to correct Strabismus 2/07 Diagnosed with Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma-Stage 3, Group 3 Tumor was in right forearm with metastasis to right auxillary lymph nodes. 2/07 to 1/08 Received 14 rounds of chemotherapy which included 7 rounds of Vincristine, Dactinomycin and Cyclophosphamide alternating with 7 rounds of Vincristine and Irinotecan. She was treated on a phase III COG clinical trial (COG D9902). 4/07 to 5/07 Received 28 radiation therapy treatments to right forearm and right auxilla. 3/11 First Rhabdomyosarcoma Relapse to right thigh with metastasis to right inguinal lymph nodes. 3/11 to 1/12 Received 12 rounds of chemotherapy which included Cyclophosphamide, Vinorelbine and Temsirolimus. She was treated on a phase II COG clinical trial (ARST0921). 1/12 to 2/12 Received 25 radiation therapy treatments to right thigh and right inguinal lymph nodes. 6/12 Second Rhabdomyosarcoma Relapse to chest and abdomen. 6/12 to 5/13 Received 12 rounds of Ifosfamide, Carboplatin and Etoposide. 6/13 to 8/13 Received 50 radiation therapy treatments—25 to her abdomen followed by 25 to her chest. 7/13 Began maintenance chemotherapy while still getting chest radiation—daily oral Cyclosphosphamide. 9/13 Continued daily oral chemotherapy and added IV Vinorelbine (she had two treatments in Sept. and one in October—both were stopped due to neutropenia) 11/13 Continued daily oral Cyclophosphamide and began bi-weekly Vinorelbine at a reduced strength (60%). 1/14 Continued daily oral Cyclophosphamide and bi-weekly Vinorelbine at a 75% strength. 3/14 Third Rhabdomyosarcoma Relapse to right eye orbit 4/14 Received one round of chemotherapy—Cyclophosphamide, Vinorelbine and Temsirolimus. 4/14 to 6/14 Received 25 radiation therapy treatments to right eye orbit. 4/14 to 6/14 Continued to receive weekly IV Temsirolimus while getting radiation therapy.
