My wife thought I was nuts, but I decided to get up before the crack of dawn to watch the cruise ship that was in the news glide through the channel as it arrived this morning. After carefully calculating where it was going to dock and at what time it was scheduled to arrive there, I was at the standing on the pier at 6:30 this morning and joined a small group of fellow ship nerds as we waited in eager anticipation. We braved the wind, the rain, and early morning chill for an hour and a half before someone took pity on our pathetic souls and told us the ship arrived ahead of schedule and was already docked. Stupid boat.
