My wish is the same every year, harboring a moment of compassion spontaneously. If you see uncle is clearing the plates for you in food court, remember to lighten his load, clear your own tray. If you see aunty is selling tissue paper, please do buy a few packets from her so that she can hit day sales target and knock off, able to rest at home early. If you see anyone on the road, having difficulties crossing the road, please do spare your time to assist him/her instead of beating your time with fast steps. If you see anyone needs donation to support the charity, just donate $1 or any amount that will bring smile to the beneficiaries. When you board the bus, walking on the road, using public toilet, etc. Think of the driver, construction worker, cleaner, etc, they come from abroad, away from family, work under rain / sun daily, smile and greet them with appreciation. Sparing a moment to purify our mind, our speech and our action, to understand we live everyday with peoples kindness. This is the best gift that you can give me every year.
