My word of the day: “DAD” - His the man that been/was their for you from the very beginning or maybe came along after you graced world… He the man that has comforted you, clothed you, punished you and all the things in between that a REAL DAD DOES or continues to DO. Well it does take much to be a father, but is DOES take a lot to be a DAD, DADDY, DA, POP, PAW PAW, etc. All the words that we call our DADS and/or GRAND-DADS. If, your DAD is still with you be very greatful….. it’s undainting feeling to have lost a DAD at an early age or not to never know you dad or know he’s there, but never for you. To see someone with their dad will give you pause and have you think what if, how come or why me. Unfortunately, there is never closure as people say….. You may close your mind to the fact that he’s gone or you never had him, but it’s ever forgotten it’s only buried until someone or something reminds you of the fact – which is to a lot when the day comes…. his birthday comes and when the date of his death comes….. that day when you wish he was there for a special occasion - Graduation, Wedding, Promotion and just needing to talk to him! Cherish that relationship, because oh so many years ago, I found out that tomorrow isn’t promised you or him….. they’re gone you can’t tell them anything and get that word of wisdom or the hug you may need just to make it…. It’s gone in an instant! Yes, you can still talk with him, oh but it’s not the same. Love them Tell them Hug them – don’t say tomorrow, because it may never come! So, again I would like to wish all the REAL (DAD’S) FATHER’S a very HAPPY YOUR DAY and many more!
