My words to Samsung, well to start I love Samsung I own a n7100 - TopicsExpress

My words to Samsung, well to start I love Samsung I own a n7100 note 2 and its an all-round excellent device even by todays standards but there is just one thing, which I dont blame Samsung for because most mobile phone companies do it but updates, I believe updates dont look so updated when they appear as firmware on a device. For instance, I currently have 4.3 jellybean on my note 2 but its not as amazing as I thought it would be...yes it improves stability when navigating though the ui but things have merely changed whereas the 4.3 with the new touchwiz preloaded onto the n9500 note 3 is simply amazing from the new widgets to the slightly modified home screen transition and its frighteningly stable.I know that updates within an update must be kept on a sort of downlow so that people would want to get the new hotness (in Samsungs case the note 3) and not hold on to aging device such as the s3 or note 2 but I would like Samsung to just give us, their aging devices owners a more niche experience with their updates. With that said I would like to say a bit about the s5.When I first saw it I didnt really like how it look but now I think its an attractive looking device, build quality looks robust and feel in hand must be great with the new textured grip. However, the new touchwiz isnt bad but some things I just cant agree with.1. The new transition between widgets on the home screen, I think Samsung should have kept the one that came with the s4.2.Im not really sure how I feel about the new icons in the notification bar but I was starting to become accustomed to that of 2012/2013 touchwiz and last but not least 3.Touchwiz itself.I believe touch wiz needs a fresher look something more stockandroid-ishbut keeping the transitions on the home screen. I would now like to speak about the Galaxy Note line.It hasnt gotten very far with only 3 iterations of the large display mobile beasts but I find them amazing. The note 2 fits perfectly in my hands and I can even operate it with one hand without one hand operation being turned on and notes are big.Using my note for a while and other devices now feel small including the s3 which was considered as going beyond the boundary of display sizewhen it first became available on shelves. The s pen is just great I dont use it regularly, but when I do I enjoy it.I might not use s note alot but its fun to play some games with the s pen sometimes. Before I end this I would like to speak about material choice.I am saying to Samsung NO MATTER WHO CRITICIZE STICK TO PLASTIC.Some might say it makes devices look cheap but I say nope. Also, plastic gives devices alot of technical and physical advantages over metal and glass:1.better signal and reception 2.cheaper to manafacture 3.cheaper to replace and 4.easy to remove.Out of all Samsung devices currently available though, Id say the s4 is the best looking and I love the look of the new s4 black edition. Thats all from me for now and to you Samsung keep up the good work no one really saw you coming me either, but you did and u do a pretty good heck of a job making electronics. Sincerely yours, From Cajun Francois To Samsung :)
