My youngest son picked our story to read tonight and to my excitement it was one of my favorites! We read The Little Drummer Boy. We took turns reading, but by the end of the story Chase said, Mom Im reading the rest of this. When finished he said, Mom, the drummer boy had the best present of all for Baby Jesus. I asked why? Chase said, Because Im sure Jesus loved the drums and song. Music comes from our heart. Our heart is the best gift we have to give! Then I played this version for Chase to show him this song is still being played today. I wonder if I can learn that too? he asked. I hope so Chase! May you always keep the faith.
