My2Cents:- USA vs.Mr. Modi:- Is it time for introspection ??? I think it is, its time for some serious introspection by USA on how it formulates its policies, on how it chooses friend and/or foes, on how it forms its foreign policy and on whom America trusts and depends for input and feedback. How America gathers information besides its intelligence/secret services, on what is trust worthy and what is not. BECAUSE, it seems America has been wrong on many fronts, Lets start with Mr. Modi. America turned down Visa to Mr. Modi for what America sited as his involvement in 2002 riots, or lack of speedy action, control of riots, in-spite of the fact that all major investigating agencies of India (which by the way were controlled by the ruling Congress at that time) including the SIT didnt find anything against Mr. Modi and had given him the clean chit. even the Courts of the land had cleared him of any wrong doing. ***** If this was so, what information did America actually act on, was it from its own sources, own information gathering agencies, was it from other outside sources, or was it based on some random people/politicians letters those were written by politicians/people who didnt like Mr. Modi, were his political/religious opponents, people who had vested interest in having Mr. Modi declared a perpetrators. DID America verify the facts and the credentials of people who wrote USA letters against Mr. Modi ? Did these people provide any tangible proof to USA, if they did why not same proof was provided to Indian Courts and investigating agencies? OR its just that these people THOUGHT, only thought that Mr. Modi was involved and was a perpetrator but had no proof. Wasnt it Americas duty to verify facts, these peoples intent and credibility before jumping on it, after all what America does has far reaching impact ***** Did America acted on these peoples letters without verifying anything ? ***** Did America not trust Indias investigating agencies ? ***** Did America not trust Indias Courts ? ***** Did America trust these letter writing people more that it did Indian Judiciary and investigating agencies? WHAT IS THE TRUTH ? Truth need to come out. Now when Hon. President of USA, Mr.Obama has accepted Mr. Modis invitation to be the Chief Guest on 26th January 2015, Indias Republic Day, THE FIRST ever US President to attend Republic Day since 1950, (65th R.Day), it becomes even much more important for USA to look in to facts on the issue and take action against people/politicians/agencies which mislead USA.
