Myth #1: “The Antichrist” is What the Bible Calls Him This future false savior is most commonly referred to by Christians as the Antichrist. Yet that moniker is itself is myth. It turns out that the Bible never actually uses that name for him in any prophecy of the coming end time king of the world. (Johns letters use antichrist to refer to a “spirit of antichrist” that was already present in those who opposed or denied Christ). The Bible instead uses such titles as the Man of Sin, the Son of Perdition, the Lawless One (2The 2:1-8), the Little Horn (Dan 7:8), the Coming Prince (Dan 9:26), the (Willful) King of the North (Dan 11:36) and the Beast (Rev 13:1-10), among others. Antichrist believes in nothing but himself. Notice this is the same. same thing that Paul told the Thessalonians, he will magnify himself as God with complete disregard for all other gods (which would include Allah).
