Myth of Technology Transfer, How it will be controlled and how it is not possible. We are still importing many Bhramos parts and MiG-21 . Russia--- The technology transfer of MiG-21 supposed to give us ability that we can make MiG-21 on our own. That hasnt happened at all. We can barely make some spare parts. . Also, Russia was relatively sincere about tech-transfer. The West isnt going to be much sincere about tech transfer . So tech transfer is just a show . Say there are 1000 Indians --- some have capital, some have engineering, some have both, some are only technicians etc. The REAL experience will come when these 1000 form 5-10 companies and compete against each other !! If all 1000 become employees in some large companies, then their experience will NOT be razor sharp at all. . Thats because REAL experience comes in employees when that company is facing make or break situation and owners and employees are trying their best to survive and also increase marker share.
