Mythodea - Music for the NASA Mission, 2001 Mars Odyssey Ιn 2001 NASA spent thousants of american dollars to stage this show in Greece before its impending mission to Mars. You can watch it with english subtitles here. The symphony begins with the face of Zeus, the greek God depicted on a giant screen while the chorus is singing Zeus, come , we pray to you, Lord Zeus, come to us, you are in us oh my God, COME.... Why did NASA spent MILLIONS of dollars of taxpayers to stage the whole symphony, commissioning the greek composer Vaggelis to do so, evoking a pagan god of ancient Greece before the impending mission to Mars?????? Why was the recorded music of the symphony played again and again throughout the mission in the actual spacecraft on the mission to chart Mars underwater supplies???, The same music is still transmitted in space as electromagnetic waves ( music is not heard in space, it just travells as waves). Why was the evocation in ancient greek , asking for Zeus and other gods to come and why was such a message necessary before the mission? youtube/watch?v=3dgMAbWWIzA&list=RD3dgMAbWWIzA#t=165
