Mōrena! So lovely to wake to a beautiful day, knowing my girls are in their room, starting to wake up. I wish I realised so much, a lot sooner. The workshop I completed in the weekend has given me tools to deal with life in a non-violent way. The way I used to talk to my precious kids - the put downs, the yelling, the controlling, authoritive way I would speak to them. No more. I cant wait to practise what Ive learnt. Time to throw out the old tapes playing over and over and time to start anew. I dont want to wait till its too late. I dont want my girls, at my age, sitting in a circle, talking about an upbringing of being yelled at or not listened to. Its time to break those cycles. My kids love me still, even after the way I would speak to them. Its about time I showed my babies the same respect xx Im starting with the man in the mirror! Have a lovely day!
