N.B.> ADVISORY: Yarmuth Returns to Washington for Hearing on Ebola Response WASHINGTON – Congressman John Yarmuth (KY-3) returned to Washington Thursday morning to take part in a hearing to examine the national public health response to Ebola in the United States. The hearing is scheduled to begin at noon. The House Committee on Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations will conduct the hearing, which will focus on public health agencies’ work to prevent the spread of Ebola in the U.S. In addition, members will seek to gauge the preparedness of health care facilities, ports, points of entry, and other institutions in identifying cases of Ebola and responding with appropriate caution, procedure, and care.
