NABARD organises financial literacy camp REASI: A financial literacy camp was organised at Talwara on Thursday by National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development(NABARD), Reasi. Attendants include Aarshi Sharma NABARD Reasi, Surinder singh NABARD Samba, LDM SBI Rohit Mehta, Kandroo, Director RSETI Reasi and locals. On the occasion, Aarshi Sharma spoke on need of financial literacy among people. Each individual should open savings account in bank so that he starts doing savings and get good interest also on the money. Also life insurance is mandatory for earning member of family because in case of any mis happening, family’s future is assured. Parents should open savings accounts for their children also so that savings for child’s education start early Surinder singh, NABARD Samba spoke about Dairy Entrepreneurship programme and also added that women should form SHGs and start some economic activity so that they can support their family. courtesy: state times
