Briefing Journalists in Asaba at the weekend, the police commissioner in the state, Alkali Baba Usman, said that under the week in review, the police recovered 17 snatched vehicles, disclosing that operatives of the crime patrol team from Obiaruku police division while on patrolalong new Sapale / Agbo road, opposite the post office Obiaruku intercepted one Toyota highlander jeep with registration No ABH 629AA with three occupants. The police boss explained that the occupant of the said vehicle on sighting the police men abandoned the vehicle and fled into the bush adding that preliminary investigation revealed that the said vehicle was snatched from its owner, one Engineer Joseph Okolie in Warri at gun point earlier in the evening of the faithful day.
