A retired Shepherd once made an example of how the souls chooses us to open doors unto them. Our preparation for the Service for Departed is ALWAYS important. When we see a new store opening, there are always sale papers advertising what they would have on special. We browse through it and choose the items which we would want to buy. They sometimes have limited stock on these items. On the day of the opening, lots of people wait outside for the doors to open. Each shopper then goes directly to the items theyve listed to buy. How disappointing is it not if theres something youve listed and its then sold out? Well then have to wait and see if it would be on sale again the next time. We can look at the service and awaiting souls as a new shops opening sale. The souls chooses us to be a help unto them, knowing and unbeknowing unto us. They choose us because we possess love, patience, forgiveness, etc. to be found worthy. They decide before the time who they want to help them. They watch us and protect us so that we can be a help unto them. If we are not there in the service to represent them, or stay away deliberately, they need to go back to the realm to wait for the next opportunity which awaits them. Let us be a worthy vessel and open door for those who needs grace. May you all have a blessed day so that the last souls be found worthy and we can be reunited with our loved ones who have gone before.
