NAIDOC Week is held in the first full week of July. It is a time to celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and an opportunity to recognise the contributions that Indigenous Australians make to our country and our society. We encourage all Australians to participate in the celebrations and activities that take place across the nation during NAIDOC Week. DVA acknowledges and supports the celebration of significant events for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and also acknowledges the contribution that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people have made in defence of Australia. For more information or assistance Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are encouraged to contact the Veterans Access Network and ask to speak to their Indigenous Veterans Liaison Officer on 133 254 (metro) or 1800 555 254 (regional). naidoc.org.au/
