NAKED INJUSTICE AT WOJI DIVISIONAL POLICE STATION, PORT HARCOURT, RIVERS STATE, NIGERIA: TAKE ACTION NOW! This is another angle to the developing Lawlessness in Rivers State. READ and SHARE. This incident involving one Mr Nwabueze Timothy, a seller of female clothes at #21 Woji Road, close to Genesis Castle, started on Wednesday, the 23rd day of July, 2014. Mr Nwabueze as usual, opened his shop on the fateful day. While sweeping the front of his shop, some money fell from a passing Keke Napep. He picked the money, counted and confirmed the sum. He kept the picked money in safe custody for whoever will come to claim same. After a while, a keke driver, who may have seen him picked the money, came claiming that the picked money with Mr Nwabueze is his money. Mr Nwabueze asked him of the amount and the denomination of his missed money, but he could not answer. After a while, another Keke driver came claiming that the picked money is his. Mr Nwabueze put the same questions to him, but he failed too. The two Keke drivers later returned to Mr Nwabueze, each claiming ownership to the picked money. Thereafter, Mr Nwabueze then approached a Police Officer who is around his shop area by name, MR EWORD EMMA and relayed what happened to him. He then handed over the picked money[N10,000.00] to him. The Police officer asked Mr Nwabueze to get ready for both of them to go to the Mini-Okoro Police Station, which has Jurisdiction over the area of the incident, to incident the matter and deposit the money with the Police to enable whoever legitimately owned the money to go and collect same. The Police officer and Mr Nwabueze crossed the main road and were waiting for Keke to move to the Mini Okoro Police Station. Unknown to them, the two rival claimants to the picked money saw and called a passing Police patrol team from Woji Estate Divisional and reported the matter. Mr Nwabueze Timothy, the Unusual Police officer, Mr Eword Emma and other innocent persons around there were rounded up and taken to the Woji Estate Police Station and detained. The Police officer certainly by premonition vowed to follow and stand by the young man that picked the money. The Woji Estate Police released the other innocent arrested persons [two young men and a girl] at the cost of N5,000.00 each. For Mr Nwabueze Timothy, who the Police claimed instigated the problem, he was asked to bring N20,000.00 for his bail. On Thursday, the 24th day of July, 2014, I became aware of the matter and visited the Woji Estate Police Station on Friday, the 25th day of July, 2014 on compassionate ground. I not only confirmed the storyline, but also met the unusual Police officer under detention three days on at the instance and to the full knowledge of the female DPO of the Station for DARING to stand for the Truth. I moved to see the DPO, but was directed to see the IPO, one INSPECTOR JOHN, who was then demanding for N15,000.00 . I met the IPO, who asked that I should wait. I waited for a long while. Later he told me that he was not ready for me indicating that I can see the DPO. I left to attend to a call. I returned to the Police Station. Made move to see the DPO, but other officers insisted that I cannot see her except with the IPO. I explained to them what the IPO told me earlier but they refused. One of the Officers gave a directive to the Lady Officer on duty at the Counter NEVER to allow me to see the DPO. Immediately, the officer on the Counter ordered Me to leave the Counter area where I was copying the Woji Divisional Police Station No: 07055690024. I was asked to go outside their premises by the said counter duty officer, who expressed unwillingness to face any trouble. I also saw and copied the DPO, one IREJU B. Nos: 08037096168 and 07035294347. I waited outside till about 7.00 pm thinking the DPO would come out by way of closing to no avail. I then called the DPO on 08037096168. She picked and confirmed her identity as the DPO in charge of Woji Estate Divisional Police Station. While explaining my coming to see her in the afternoon, she left my credit running while attending to other business. I kept on till it cut. I called back but she refused to pick. I tried her other line 07035294347. It rang but she refused to pick. HUMBLE REQUEST: Can you call any of the NUMBERS herein and draw attention to this LAWLESSNESS. As I left the Police Station that Friday night, Mr Nwabueze Timothy and the Unusual Police officer, Mr Eword Emma were STILL IN DETENTION from Wednesday. ****DRAMATIC TURN OF EVENTS IN THE NIGERIAN WAY*** While I cannot confirm, but I suspect that ACTIONS were taken based on my PLEA for Action made Friday night through my post on the SOCIAL MEDIA-Facebook. Saturday, the 26th day of July, 2014 was Sanitation exercise in Port Harcourt from 7.00 to 10.00 am. While the exercise was on, I received a SHOCKING but not unexpected call to the effect that Mr Nwabueze Timothy and the Unusual Police officer, Mr Eword Emma were being taken to StateCID. That is that the DPO has Ordered the TRANSFER of the Case. The DPO and her Team has placed a CAPITAL Offence of ARMED ROBBERY against Mr Nwabueze Timothy and the Unusual Police officer, Mr Eword Emma, so as to NAIL them. I am sure that GOD was Watching the entire Evil Game by the DPO and her team from Woji Estate Police Station, which clearly has NO JURISDICTION whatsoever over the Matter in the first place. At the StateCID, the Police asked Mr Nwabueze Timothy and the Unusual Police officer, Mr Eword Emma, what happened. Upon HEARING from Mr Nwabueze Timothy and the Unusual Police officer, Mr Eword Emma, the StateCID Police asked the IPO, Inspector JOHN, who was acting the script of the DPO, to take the matter back to Woji Estate and release them. Can you imagine what would have happened if the unusual Police officer did not stand by this poor young man???????????? Upon return to Woji Estate Police Station, the Unusual Police Officer was RELEASED and asked to report back on Wednesday,30th July, 2014. The Police Officer called the relation of Mr Nwabueze Timothy to report for his bail. The Brothers of Mr Nwabueze Timothy arrived at the Woji Estate Police Station after the Sanitation exercise. They met the IPO, Inspector JOHN, who told them that they should wait till the DPO comes. They waited till Saturday went DARK. I personally called the IPO, Inspector JOHN on Sunday, 27th July, 2014, who confirmed the above dramatic storyline. Sadly, IPO expressed helplessness since the matter is pending as a Transferred Case, but confirmed that the young man is in their cell at Woji Estate Police Station. Mr Nwabueze Timothy as at Sunday, the 27th day of July, 2014, is still in the Detention Cell of Woji Estate Divisional Police Station at the Pleasure of the DPO.
