NAMM with my best friend and band mate, Elsa Faith in less than 12 hours. Even though this isnt my first time going, I still get nervous. For some its a great place to party with friends and enjoy the company of rockstars/awesome gear, but for me, its all about the contact/industry possibilities and potential band opportunities. As a young aspiring band, I couldnt think of a better place to try and network, put yourself out there and make contacts in the industry. Time to put the game face on! EPs, business cards, and that Erin and Elsa charm is in full force. To me, this isnt just a music convention, its an investment in myself and my band. Of course partying and enjoying the company of rockstars and new gear is just a wicked bonus! ;-) Wish us luck, you never know who we could bump into! And of course, if you are going and know anyone that would be interested in helping us further our music career, dont hesitate to send us in that direction. We arent afraid of a challenge.
