NANA OUATTARA ADDO WILL WIN THE NPP PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARY AND LOSE THE GENERAL ELECTIONS. The Hon Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo started his ambition to lead this beautiful country,Ghana close to 40yrs now. His closest was in 2008,he won his partys presidential primary against his main contender Ambassador John Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanteng. The campaign 2008 by Hon Nana Addo was arguably the most expensive and sophisticated by any Presidential candidate from 1992. Amidst the pomp and pageantry that was associated with the NPP 2008 campaign,his main opponent,then candidate Professor Mills,adopted a rather unknown campaign strategy,Retail Campaign in managing people. He adopted the house to house campaign strategy,it enabled him to move and interact with rural folks and city dwellers.Electorates had the opportunity to question him personally. The npp led by Nana Addo rather adopted a very expensive campaign strategy of busing people to rallies,sometimes even paying them. Classic example relates to the Kasoa Rally,Metro Mass buses were placed at various areas around the city,once u entered,u were given money and T shirts. At the close of polls in the Run-Off,then candidate Mills,was able to beat Hon Nana Addo with over 40000 votes. There was the desperate act of getting an injunction at the High Court to stop the declaration.That attempt was foiled by Dr Raymond Atuguba among others. The Campaign Team of Nana quickly launched an attack against the NDC and EC for rigging the elections. Ridiculous was the claim that the then opposition NDC rigged the election.Very funny.How can an opposition party rig an election against an incumbent party with so much might. The Campaign Team of Nana indicated that he was cheated. The strategy was to take the blame from Nana Addo,who upon all the money,power and incumbency still failed to win,to the NDC and EC. With the false claim of cheating,the Associates of Nana succeed in presenting him as someone who didnt lose an election but was cheated. Against this backdrop,he succeeded in getting Peter Mac Manu,Ohene Ntow,Asobayiri to lose their National positions,because they were blamed for the defeat.He had the partys Constitution amended to increase the delegates(electoral college). He managed to have his close associatesJake Otanka Obetsebi Lamptey and Sir John elected as Chairman and Secretary respectively.It was expected that with these two he will win the election. Indeed are alleged to effectively helped in winning his partys primary by messing up the album for the election. He won the primaries and started his campaign with several tours,namely,ALL HANDS ON DECK TOUR,LISTENING TOUR,RESTORATION OF HOPE TOUR among others. He had campaigned for almost 3yrs only to lose the election to Prez John Mahama who campaigned for 3 months.They could not believe losing that election,so they quickly put up some allegations of vote padding and reduction against Mahama and EC create another impression that he was cheated to enable him to be elected again to lead the NPP. Against this backdrop,the NPP has not helped Nana Addo to take responsibility for his defeats only to blame the EC,MAHAMA,ASANTEHENE AND SOME JUSTICES OF THE SUPREME COURT. He would win the primaries and lose the general elections,the issues militating against the presidential ambition of Nana are multidimensional. #HONESTY AND CANDOUR
