NAS JAX SPORTING NEWS CAPTAIN’S CUP INTRAMURAL BASKETBALL LEAGUE FORMING The league is open to active duty, DOD, DOD Contractors and selective reservists assigned to a command at NAS Jacksonville. The league will start in June and the entry and roster forms are due by May 30th. All interested personnel should contact the sports department at the base gym to get the rules and the required paperwork to join the league. CAPTAIN’S CUP WALLYBALL LEAGUE FORMING The league is open to active duty, DOD, DOD Contractors and selective reservists assigned to a command at NAS Jacksonville. CAPTAIN’S CUP BEAN BAG TOSS SINGLES TOURNAMENT JUNE 23 The tournament will be held at the NAS Jacksonville Fitness, Sports, and Aquatics Center on Monday, June 23rd at 5pm. The tournament is open to active duty, DOD, DOD Contractors and selective reservists assigned to a command at NAS Jacksonville. CAPTAIN’S CUP MEN’S RACQUETBALL TOURNAMENT JULY 21-25 The tournament is open to active duty, selective reservists, DOD civilians, and DOD contractor men assigned to a command at NAS Jacksonville. Participants will earn participation points for their command toward the captain’s cup and can earn additional points for finishing 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place. Call NAS Jax Athletics to sign up by July 14th. CAPTAIN’S CUP WOMEN’S RACQUETBALL TOURNAMENT JULY 28-31 The tournament is open to active duty, selective reservists, DOD civilians, and DOD contractor women assigned to a command at NAS Jacksonville. Participants will earn participation points for their command toward the captain’s cup and can earn additional points for finishing 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place.
