NASA REVISITED~ ~ Kennedy Space Center Cape Canaveral, Florida, USA August 2014 One of the highlights of our summer vacation is the visit to the National Aeronautics and Space Agency (NASA) in Florida. Meeting and talking with an astronaut about Americas exploration of space is always amazing and fascinating! After 20 years since we last visited this facility, it was great to see our space exploration dreams and achievements again. It was exciting to see the progress of NASAs Orion Deep Space Program to explore Mars and other planets and stars in the universe and the Solar System. We were given a chance to experience a flight simulator of how it feels to be in an Orion Deep Space Craft. We also toured the Astronauts Hall of Fame to view the museum and its exhibits on the lives and achievements of our astronauts. It was indeed an out of this world experience!
