NASA channelling me or me them...lol. I wrote a poem this week on gravity. Offering it up to the curious minded.... Sunshine motes the air With the residue of life and death; remnants of supernovae, Of gravity’s collapse And the birth of knowledge, And we dare to live and breathe Absorbing, disseminating, dying By the skin of our teeth And other flaking body parts. Floating through life On a whimsical journey Is not for the brave of heart. It is for them to take All of the ingredients That the stars donate To continuing So that life not be pale, Some echo of what was But warmer, more condensed, more vibrant a neutron star of possibility a teaspoon too heavy to lift a dust mote too far from home but still of consequence to gravity.
