NKJV and NIV change heretick to divisive man; RSV and NASV to factious man. (The one who holds to heresy is to be rejected, not the one who exposes false doctrine. The new versions confuse who is in mind here). Acts 4:27—KJV reads, Thy holy child, Jesus. NKJV, NASV and RSV change holy child to holy servant. Romans 4:25—KJV reads, Who was delivered for our offenses and was raised again for our justification. NKJV and NASV change for to because of. They are two difference words. 2 Timothy 2:15—KJV reads, Study to shew thyself approved unto God. NKJV and NASV change study to be diligent. NIV and RSV change study to do your best. Which one is it, study, diligent or do your best? John 6:33 NASV: `For the bread of God is that which comes down out of heaven, and gives life to the world. KJV: For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven and giveth Life unto the world. (Is Jesus a “that” or he”? John 3:13b NASV: ... even the Son of Man. KJV: ... even the Son of man which is in heaven. In the NASV, Where is the Son of man? John 6:69 `And we have believed and have come to know that You are the Holy One of God. KJV: And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God. Come to know …..is not the same thing being …..SURE
