NATIONAL AIDS COUNCIL IN SIMBU PROVINCE NON-EXISTENT. There is no provincial response to prevent the HIV/AIDS epidemic from spreading and claiming more lives in Simbu Province because for the past few years the National Aids Council has been doing next to nothing in the province. Although the National Aids Council has a coordinator in Simbu Province and funding is made available for its activities in the province there is nothing to show for. As the position of Provoncial Coordinator is now advertised I suggest the National Aids Council consider such quality applicants like Mr. Issac Baikuru among others who has a proven track record of producing tangible results as an health adminiatrator in various capacities serving all parts of Simbu with local knowledge for the last 35 years.
