NATIONAL DISPUTE The Postal Executive has today met and received a comprehensive report on the current state of play in national negotiations. As a result it was unanimously agreed to accept a new offer from Royal Mail to extend the ballot for the final 7 days that is permissible in law, to allow negotiations to continue and reach an agreement. Although progress has continued to be made and a new closed pay offer has been tabled, there remain difficult areas to resolve. The Unions Postal Executive will meet again on Monday 25th November 2013 to further consider the detailed position and determine whether Industrial Action should be announced.
