I have it now. It is a compact, state-of-the-art sustainable power generation and source of local livelihood that is based on a never-ending stream of free resources- organic waste (human, animal and agro). We need to get that free livelihood to the poor in our midst now. Let them find money on the organic waste in abundance around them. Even human excrement and animal manure. Anything that rots and decompose. The urban and even rural poor lived a life scavenging others waste. We will use that setting to create their future. It will buy them extra food on their table. Add more money on their pocket. Create the leverage they need to rise out of poverty. Slowly but surely. One day at a time. A wealthy Filipino sponsoring a mini biogas barangay power plant, a personal legacy of his, can be the spark to set the fire glowing. A corporate social fund sponsoring one unit of the micro barangay power plant and placing it at their own chosen community would be nice. Once installed, the synergy of power generation, sustainable income/livelihood, and organic waste management would be like clockwork. Others would visit it, look at it, and would follow suit. The generosity of the Philanthropist or the logo painted on all corners of the containerized mini biogas power plant would be well remembered by the community better than the finest statue, epal marker, or any other commemorative or advertising signages.
