NATIONAL RECRUITING ANALYST JAMIE NEWBERG TO APPEAR AT JACKSON TOUCHDOWN CLUB MEETING (JACKSON, MS) The Jackson Touchdown Club Presented by C Spire Wireless will host the third meeting of the Club’s season on Monday, September 23, 2013, at 6:00 P.M. at the River Hills Club located at the intersection of Ridgewood Road and Lakeland Drive in Jackson. National football recruiting analyst Jamie Newberg will speak to the Club. Newberg is considered to be one of the most insightful experts on the subject of college football recruiting. He has been covering recruiting since 1992 when he served as a production assistant to SportsSouth’s Countdown to Signing Day. From 1996 to 2001, he operated BorderWars recruiting service in connection with Rivals. Over the last decade he has worked with Scout, Rivals, and ESPN. He currently works for FoxSports as a FoxSports national recruiting analyst who manages the state of Florida. He also covers the NFL Draft for FoxSports in the spring.
