NATIVE PRIDE!!! I am holding a plaque and have a Pendleton blanket I was gifted from the United States Department of Labor. I was 1 one 3 finalists out of 30 nominees for an Outstanding Participant award in the nation. Its my very 1st Pendleton blanket! I am very proud and a Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians enrolled member! Aho! In the pic is my mentor, Carrie McGhee, executive director at Spotted Eagle, Inc in Milwaukee, WI!!!! I look tired lol after a 9 hr shift I went to my Milwaukee Indian Education Committee meeting and was surprised with this! :)
